Connexions Conference 2011

Connexions will be hosting our annual conference at Rice University in Houston, TX on February 9th, 2011, followed the next day by a Connexions code sprint.

Hal Plotkin, senior policy adviser in the Department of Education, will be the keynote speaker for the Connexions Conference 2011. A veteran journalist and commentator, Plotkin is a leading proponent of the open education resources movement and a former president of the board of trustees of the Foothill-De Anza Community College District in Silicon Valley. He will speak at 9:15 a.m. February 9th, in Duncan Hall's McMurtry Auditorium.

Conference attendees will learn how Connexions is expanding its content base to more effectively engage mainstream educational institutions. They'll get the latest updates on the enterprise version of the Connexions software, Enterprise Rhaptos. And they'll also learn how lens-based branding allows Connexions Consortium members to brand content with their own logo and branding.
